Delta Dust, containing deltamethrin, is the world's first and only 100% waterproof insecticide dust. This unique feature allows it to be effective in wet and damp areas where insects typically thrive. Delta Dust is resistant to anything short of running water, making it an ideal treatment for cracks and crevices. To apply Delta Dust, a bellows hand duster (available separately) is recommended for reaching difficult areas. Just one application of Delta Dust is enough to continue eliminating insects for up to eight months.

When applying Delta Dust, it is recommended to use a hand or power duster, such as the Actisol DPA, or similar equipment. Alternatively, a paint brush or other suitable means can be used for treating hiding and escape areas where insects are commonly found. In living spaces, care should be taken to prevent deposits on exposed surfaces and to avoid dispersing the material into the air. To prevent contamination, all food preparation surfaces and utensils should be covered or thoroughly cleaned before use, and exposed food should be stored away or covered.

For targeted application into cracks and crevices, a bulbous duster or similar equipment can be used. It is important to apply the dust lightly and evenly over infested areas, paying particular attention to areas such as cracks, crevices, service ducts, floors, ceilings, wall voids, electrical fittings, water pipes, cabinets, refrigerators, sinks, windows, door frames, baseboards, attics, and crawl spaces. The amount of Delta Dust to be applied will vary depending on the surface, but typically ranges from 2-3 grams per square yard (or 0.5 lbs per 1000 square feet).
